| When I create my sketches I am just looking for a seed of an idea. The drawings are very rough, basic and simple. Once I start the painting then proceed to create the art based on a "whatever happens, happens" type of painting philosophy. |

As can be seen in the rough sketch, originally it was planned to have some sort of European city in the background. But once painting began it did not fit into the painting. Also note in the sketch there are 7 women. In the final painting there are 9 women and placed a bit differently. See more detail views of the finished painting here. |

| The reason I decided to make a painting from this very rough sketch was that the eyes were much bigger than the mouth & I decided to painting a woman in this manner. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The sketch idea was just a woman holding a glass case with a cat fairy inside. I knew I would had more details in the painting when I started it. Note the other sketches with ideas on how the cat fairy glass cases. | The sketch is quite rough and it was the big eyes and long, curving pony tail that got me to create a painting from the idea. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
